Job Summary
Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital channels by initiating service consultations, utilizing selling tools, and leveraging Nordstrom Rewards accounts. Build lasting customer relationships through follow-ups, product suggestions, and event invitations while driving appointment-based sales. Create in-store events, network in the community, and maintain strong vendor relationships across Beauty brands to identify key product focuses. Manage a flexible schedule based on weekly business needs, requiring continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift involving lifting up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Beauty industry experience
- The ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization and follow-through
- A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head
- Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
