Job Summary
Beauty Consultant for a tanning salon position focused on achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales goals through professional, upbeat customer consultations. Responsibilities include meeting sales goals, educating customers on tanning services and company standards, maintaining a clean salon, handling cash, opening/closing procedures, completing daily administrative paperwork, and tracking goals. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years old, strong verbal/written communication, retail/customer service experience, ability to stand 7+ hours/day, lift 25 pounds, reliable transportation, and flexible availability including nights and weekends. Opportunity for advancement with assistant manager and manager roles; compensation includes commission and potential hourly wage increases based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in retail/customer service environment
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7+hours per day
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
