Job Summary
Manage and upkeep the salon-spa by performing all scheduled services, controlling inventory, and restocking supplies daily. Maintain cleanliness and order per Salon-Spa Standards while monitoring residents for concerns that may affect service delivery. Communicate appropriately with nursing or management staff regarding resident needs and ensure all activities comply with state cosmetology rules and regulations. Possess a state-issued cosmetologist license and 2-4 years of experience performing salon and spa services. Complete required courses in adherence with HRA and maintain a safe, secure environment for all community residents.
Required Qualifications

- high school or GED education
- Ability to work independently and manage appointment schedules effectively
- Knowledge of sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures
- 2-4 years' experience performing essential salon and spa services
- knowledge of how chemicals used in hair care affect senior citizens health
- Ability to perform independently and exercise good judgement
- Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
