Job Summary
Maintain cleanliness of the designated beach area by removing trash, combing the sand, and laundering towels while setting up chairs, umbrellas, and equipment. Provide guests with complimentary rolled towels, cold water, snacks, lunch, and refreshments, and assist them in finding seating or adjusting their gear. Anticipate needs by wiping sand off chairs and hanging towels, while greeting guests by name and demonstrating a team-focused attitude. Attend departmental meetings and training sessions, and comply with all safety, evacuation, and uniform policies. Work flexible hours including midweek and weekends, standing for the duration of shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to remain standing for the duration of their shift
- Ability to regularly move and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to move quickly based on guest needs
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information effectively in public, group environments
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to effectively solve problems and troubleshoot
- Ability to perform assigned tasks and operate equipment in a safe manner
- Availability to work flexible hours based on business needs including midweek and weekend days
- Comply with all uniform, dress code, and appearance standards
