Job Summary
Part-time BE/BC Radiation Oncologist for the Newberry, SC office. The role entails delivering a full spectrum of radiotherapy services in a freestanding Self Medical Group setting with 8-10 patients/day in Newberry and support from a team including two LINACs (Varian Trilogy and Edge TrueBeam) plus advanced planning systems (Eclipse v15.6, RadFormation). Responsibilities include treatment planning and delivery (3D & IMRT), and participation in a multi-physician practice that also serves Greenwood with a higher patient load (25-40/day). The candidate should have expertise in modern radiation techniques such as RapidArc/VMAT, SBRT, frameless SRS with VMAT, electron therapy, HDR, and a strong clinical commitment to patient care in a community hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- board-eligible or board-certified in Radiation Oncology
- MD or DO medical degree
- current medical license in SC or eligible for licensure in SC
