Job Summary
Infectious Disease physician needed in Bowling Green, KY to provide 100% infectious disease specialty service across inpatient and outpatient settings, including telehealth support for satellite facilities. Role involves inpatient consultation, clinic duties, on-call rotations (1:4), and bridge coverage with NP support, plus active participation in Antibiotic Stewardship, Infection Prevention and Sepsis committees. Position supports residency and medical student education programs with affiliation to Med Center Health, UK College of Medicine, and WKU. Offers visa sponsorship, base salary with potential bonuses, sign-on and relocation allowances, CME allowance, comprehensive benefits, and tail malpractice coverage. Location is Bowling Green, KY with 60% inpatient and 40% outpatient activities described; practice involves hospital system coordination across multiple facilities and rural satellite hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC Infectious Disease physician
- Board-certified/infectious disease preferred
- Infectious Diseases and Travel Medicine experience
- Inpatient and outpatient care responsibilities
- Telehealth service provision
- Participation in antibiotic stewardship, infection prevention, and sepsis committees
- Participation in residency and medical student education programs
