Job Summary
BDC Service Agents handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls and emails, identify customer needs, provide service appointment availability, and partner with service advisors. This role requires excellent customer service skills, advanced computer and phone abilities, and the capacity to manage 50+ calls daily. Agents will document customer interactions accurately, follow dealership procedures, and adhere to phone scripts. Experience in customer tracking systems, retail, and appointment setting is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
- Excellent customer service skills and motivation to be successful
- Advanced computer & phone skills
- Minimum typing 35-40 words per minute
- High volume incoming and outgoing calls, ranging from 50+ calls per day
- Agents must adhere to Asbury phone scripts
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Team player
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using customer tracking systems to track calls and appointments
- Prior retail, sales, service BDC, receptionist, call center, or sales BDC experience
- Appointment setting experience
- Various language proficiency
