Job Summary

Answer all incoming phone calls according to script and schedule a sales appointment. Make outbound calls. Log all customer comments. Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made. Contact customers using scripts to schedule appointments for Sales and Service. Confirm scheduled appointments. Post scheduled appointments on appointment board in BDC. Reschedule no-show customer appointments. Follow up with Sales or Service to determine outcome. Schedule future contact as needed. Update customer changes in database. Generate emails to automatically schedule follow-up reminders. Contact customers based on current marketing initiatives. Respond to customer website requests. Contact Internet customers via email and phone to schedule an appointment. Follow up on Internet customer emails according to a predetermined timeline. Notify departments when an appointment is scheduled. Assist with other duties as assigned. Ability to meet or exceed monthly goals. This role is within the Smith Automotive Group in Georgia and requires high school diploma and automotive/telemarketing experience; bilingual Spanish is preferred. Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with phones or telemarketing in automotive, business development, or customer service fields
  • Experience with scripts, power tracks, and alternative choices
  • Professional, enthusiastic and friendly communication
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills; ability to initiate dialogue
  • Organized, multi-tasked, self-motivated; able to work independently or in a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word; data entry skills; computer literate
  • Preferred bilingual ability in Spanish
  • Ability to meet or exceed monthly goals
  • Must pass pre-employment screening including MVR and drug test; valid in-state driver's license
