Job Summary
Easterseals MORC seeks an experienced BCBA to provide intensive services aimed at supporting children, adults, and families facing significant behavioral or mental health crises. The role requires clinical intervention such as safety planning and parent training for clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other co-occurring diagnoses. Responsibilities include conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing intensive parent coaching. Candidates must have a Master’s degree, be an actively licensed BCBA for at least four years, and have experience working with children with high-intensity needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, early childhood development/education, pediatric therapy, or a related field
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- At least 4 years of BCBA experience
- Strong background in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Experience supporting individuals with co-occurring diagnoses such as ODD, ADHD, or anxiety
- Bilingual ability or ASL proficiency
- Familiarity with community resources and agencies serving children
Additional Requirements
- Must be licensed in Michigan
- Requires the ability to travel to multiple work sites
