Job Summary
Conduct quality clinical supervision and work direction for direct reports, overseeing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and ensuring adherence to best-practice guidelines. Facilitate behavior programs, conduct assessments, and provide parent education while serving as a liaison between the organization, families, and community agencies. Lead staff meetings, manage associate performance, and deliver specialized training to Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists. Perform case-management reviews, quality assurance audits, and recruit new program associates as assigned. Travel up to 50% locally and meet productivity requirements set forth in the annual budget.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in ABA or related field
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Current CPR certification
- 2-3 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting
- Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches found to benefit children with ASD
- Familiarity with current related research findings
- Expertise in approaches to intervention based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Competence in employing and directing behavior analytic methodologies including Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Behavior Skills Training (BST), and Experimental Functional Analysis (EFA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, through oral and written skills
- Ability to relate well to children and their families and maintain positive affect
- Ability to exercise discretion, demonstrate good judgement, and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and a TB test
- Ability to provide proof of required vaccinations or positive titer showing immunity
- Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Ability to travel locally; maintain driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety Standards; maintain auto insurance and vehicle registration
- Ability to tolerate occasional exposure to unpleasant or hazardous working conditions (noise, heat, dust, bodily fluids, etc.)
- Up to 50% local travel required
