Job Summary
Collaborate with district behavioral teams to understand individual student behavior plans and communicate those plans to community and BEAM staff. Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans based on results, while developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote positive behavior change. Lead a team of behavior aids and other professionals by providing guidance, conducting orientations, and delivering professional development through modeling and coaching. Collect and analyze data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and modify treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in behavior analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other behavioral challenges
- Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles and techniques, including functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention planning
- Have and maintain appropriate certification to supervise behavior aides
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate, inspire and guide a team toward goals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete records
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in behavior analysis
