Job Summary
BCBA provides clinical behavior interventions and skill acquisition programming for adults with diverse intellectual, developmental, and mental health needs. Acts as liaison between the client, IPP team, and job sites; develops contacts with potential employers; leads the Discovery process, case management, and documentation; participates in team meetings and trainings; supervises staff and trains professionals from other disciplines; conducts assessments, designs and modifies treatment plans, and prepares progress reports and funding documents; responsibilities span behavioral analysis, case management, program management, and leadership within a non-profit adult-services setting. Activities include client assessments, resume/cover letter refinement, job coaching, and collaboration with community resources; requires BCBA or BCBA-D and CA driver’s license, with multi-year ABA experience; offers sign-on bonus eligibility and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or a related field
- Active BCBA or BCBA-D certification in good standing
- At least 3 years of experience providing ABA-based treatment to adults with developmental disabilities
- Experience conducting skills assessments and functional behavior assessments
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team with other disciplines
- Maintain all certifications up-to-date
- First Aid/CPR and other trainings as required
- Current California driver’s license/insurance and clean DMV
- Criminal record clearance through the DOJ
