BC Prep Plant Technician

Job Summary
The Prep Plant Technician will service and repair the Coal Preparation Plant at the Blue Creek mine, read and record data from gauges and meters, understand the plant circuitry and coal-processing equipment, and ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong technical skills, leadership, and teamwork to maintain and improve plant operations, including maintenance on mechanical equipment, piping, belts, valves, welding and fabrication, and timely data reporting. Effective communication with managers and teammates to provide accurate information and participate in safety meetings is essential.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1yr or more experience in a coal Preparation Plant
- Must have working knowledge of coal preparation equipment and circuitry
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- High attention to safety, detail, and quality
- Ability to work under pressure, in challenging and dynamic environments
