Job Summary
Conduct admission physicals and daily consult care with follow-ups for the Adult Addiction and Psychiatric Treatment Programs. Manage routine illnesses medically and document all care using the Tier EMR. Collaborate closely with a full team of diverse psychiatry physicians, BH technicians, RNs, social workers, and therapists to support patients. Provide weekend, weekday, and holiday coverage including Thursday, Friday, and Saturday availability. This role supports a residential treatment center offering an integrated program addressing the whole person in the North GA Mountains, owned by Universal Health Services, Inc.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or Master's Degree in Nursing from a recognized school of nursing
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in the State of Georgia
- willingness to obtain licensure in the State of Georgia
- Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
- Current National DEA Certificate
