Job Summary
Beacon Medical Group seeks full-time BC/BE Urologists to join a growing practice in Elkhart, IN. The right candidate will contribute to developing a new surgical urology service line for Elkhart and assist in physician recruitment, with in-office diagnostic testing such as cystoscopy and transrectal ultrasounds. The role includes integrating with a Level III Trauma Center and DaVinci robotic surgery capabilities, collaborating with a team of physicians and advanced practitioners, and potential leadership opportunities including affiliation with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Residency for teaching residents and students. Expect a schedule that includes clinic days and procedures, with on-call duties every 3rd weekend and every 3rd day, and opportunities to help grow the practice within Beacon Health System.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology (BC/BE)
- Full-time availability
- Fellowship training desired but not required
- Interest in developing a new surgical urology service line
- Ability to participate in call schedule (every 3rd weekend and every 3rd day)
- Experience with or willingness to engage in robotic-assisted surgery (DaVinci)
