Job Summary
Beacon Medical Group seeks full-time BC/BE Urologists to join our growing practice in Elkhart, Indiana. The right candidate will help develop a new surgical urology service line, assist in physician recruitment, and participate in in-office diagnostics (Cystoscopy and Transrectal Ultrasounds). Expect a schedule of ~3 clinic days and 1–1.5 days of surgery, with on-call coverage every 3rd weekend and every 3rd day. Opportunities for leadership and teaching residents and medical students through affiliations with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Residency. The practice includes DaVinci Robotic Surgery capabilities within a Level III Trauma Center setting, and Beacon Health System’s broad network across northern Indiana and southwest Michigan. Community highlights include Elkhart and nearby areas with access to academic partnerships and a collaborative, multi-specialty environment.
Required Qualifications
- Full-time BC/BE Urologists
- Fellowship training is desired but not required
- Established Physicians and New Graduates welcome
- Interest in developing a new surgical urology service line
- In-office diagnostic testing such as Cystoscopy and Transrectal Ultrasounds
- Take call every 3rd weekend and call every 3rd day
- 3 clinic days and 1 to 1.5 days in scheduled surgery
- Leadership/Teaching opportunities with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency
