Job Summary
Join Beacon Medical Group as a full-time BC/BE Urologist in Elkhart, IN, to help develop a new surgical urology service line. The role involves in-office diagnostic testing such as cystoscopy and transrectal ultrasounds, performing surgeries including DaVinci robotic procedures, and sharing on-call responsibilities (every 3rd weekend and every 3rd day). You will work in a collaborative, community-based practice with 3 full-time urologists and 2 NPs, with opportunities to teach residents and medical students through affiliations with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency. The practice emphasizes growth and integration with Beacon Health System, including leadership opportunities and involvement in expanding specialty services.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Urologists
- Full-time
- Fellowship training desired but not required
- Ability to take on-call every 3rd weekend and every 3rd day
- Experience in general urology and robotic surgery a plus
- Teaching opportunity with residents and medical students
