Urologists sought to join Beacon Medical Group in Elkhart, IN on a full-time basis. The role involves contributing to the growth of a surgical urology service line, participating in in-office diagnostics (Cystoscopy and Transrectal Ultrasounds), and sharing on-call duties (every 3rd weekend and every 3rd day). Clinic days consist of about 3 full days seeing patients, with 1 to 1.5 days in scheduled surgery; responsibilities include assisting in recruitment of physicians and teaching residents and medical students through affiliations with Indiana University School of Medicine at Notre Dame and Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency. The practice offers opportunities to grow within a community-based, multi-specialty group (Beacon Medical Group) that includes collaboration with an established Level III Trauma Center, DaVinci robotic surgery capabilities, and a broad regional footprint across northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan. The right candidate will be a team player with interest in expanding general urology services at Elkhart General Hospital and enhancing patient care through advanced technology and education partnerships.
