Job Summary
Full-time Infectious Disease physician hybrid role at Spartanburg Medical Center, joining a four-physician ID group and a PA. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient care with half-day clinics, following own patients across settings, and participating in a dedicated team including pharmacists, nutritionist, and mental health counselor. Outpatient services include Ryan White clinic, travel medicine, outpatient consultations, and primary care for Ryan White patients. Schedule includes 1:5 call (weekday and weekend, split among providers). EPIC EMR. Compensation package features CME allowance, retirement options with 401k match, malpractice tail with tail coverage, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance. Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Infectious Disease physician
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
- Ability to practice in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Hybrid inpatient/outpatient work model
- Experience in travel medicine and Ryan White clinic (outpatient)
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Interdisciplinary collaboration including pharmacists, nutritionist, and behavioral health counselor
- Ability to oversee continuity of care across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Call responsibilities (1:5 weekdays and weekends)
- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available
