Job Summary
BC/BE Anesthesiologists to join Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System in Upstate SC. Provide anesthesia care at 4 facilities, including Level 1 Trauma Center and complex case mix (General, Cardiac, OB, Plastics, Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, ENT, Trauma, Urology, Gyn, Ortho, Regional). In-house night and weekend call; medical Direction up to 1:4. Excellent compensation package including fellowship stipends (if assigned), sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, CME allowance, retirement options, generous PTO, tail malpractice coverage, PSLF eligible. Facilities include SMC - Church Street Campus (Level 1 Trauma Center), SMC - Mary Black Campus, Pelham Medical Center (Greer), and Cherokee Medical Center (Gaffney). Up to 19,000+ cases annually across campuses; 23 ORs at one site, multiple specialized labs and OR suites; opportunity for involvement across a broad case mix and opportunities for career development.”}{
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Anesthesiologists
- MD/DO credentialing appropriate for anesthesia practice
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Eligibility for medical staff privileges at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System
- Ability to provide General and Cardiac Anesthesia (as described)
- Comfort with night and weekend call
- Experience with diverse case mix including General, Plastics, OB, Gyn, Urology, Ortho, Neuro, Thoracic, Regional Anesthesia and Peds
