Job Summary
Full-time BC/BE Advanced Gastroenterologist sought to join the Medical Group of the Carolinas - Gastroenterology at Spartanburg Medical Center in Spartanburg, SC. The practice includes 9 employed BC gastroenterologists and 10 NP/PA staff, with an onsite endoscopy unit featuring 6 suites and 2 surgery centers. The role offers opportunities in advanced procedures (ERCP) with a strong referral base, EPIC EMR, and substantial support from NP/PA staff. Typical workload includes 15-20 patients per day and ~200 scopes per month, with call and weekend rounding support. Benefits include 30 days off with CME and attractive retirement options, plus recruitment incentives up to $100,000 and income potential exceeding $650,000. Required Qualifications
- BC/BE gastroenterologist
- Board certified in gastroenterology
- Interest in advanced procedures (ERCP)
- MD/DO medical degree
