Job Summary

Coach teen leaders on recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies to build sustainable chapters and exceed membership goals. Work directly with teens (grades 8-12) to create impactful programming, support calendar execution, and provide guidance at chapter events. Track and analyze data on attendance and participation to inform strategy and identify outreach gaps. Partner with regional teams to drive initiatives and participate in monthly professional development. Maintain communication with members, parents, and community partners while collaborating on best practices. This role requires living near Raleigh for in-person responsibilities and involves a flexible schedule of 5-10 hours weekly, including nights and weekends, from September through May.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 3 years removed from high school
  • Must live within or close to Raleigh
  • Active participation at local chapter programs is required
  • Chapter program on average 2-4x a month
  • Ability to transport self to and from chapter or regional events
  • Minimum of 5 hours a week
  • A creative and responsible self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration with teens
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship
  • Must be available for fall and spring conventions
  • Time Commitment: 5-10 hours a week (will vary), some nights and weekends required

Desired Qualifications

  • A background in BBYO or similar youth/Jewish organization
