Job Summary
Work directly with teens (grades 8-12) to create impactful programming, coach them on chapter operations, and build out chapter calendars. Be present at chapter events and meetings while overseeing attendance data and registration forms. Attract and retain members to grow chapters, keep them updated on movement initiatives, and facilitate communication with parents and community members. Collaborate with colleagues to bring innovative ideas to the community and meet monthly with a cohort of other specialists. Schedule runs August 2026 through June 2027, requiring 8-12 hours weekly with some nights and weekends, at a rate of $17.00-$18.00 per hour. Must live within or close to the New England Region (Greater Providence Area, Rhode Island) and have unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 3 years removed from high school
- Candidate must live within or close to region
- at minimum 5 hours per week
- A creative and responsible self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration with teens
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Transport self to and from chapter or regional events
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- A background in BBYO or similar youth/Jewish organization
