Job Summary
Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders, including adaptive equipment recommendations. Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to maximize patient independence. Maintain communication with the treatment team, physicians, patients, and families while documenting services for billing. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and aides in direct patient care activities. This role offers a PRN schedule of 16 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays in Bayonne, NJ. The position includes a salary range of $56.00 to $60.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university with accredited Physical Therapy program
- At least (2) years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist
- Valid license form the state of practice
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification
- PRN - 16 hours/week (Saturday and Sunday)
Desired Qualifications
- Community/hospice experience is preferred
