Job Summary
Emergency Department Physician role focused on delivering comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages. Core duties include carrying out immediate evaluation and management of undifferentiated emergencies, stabilizing patients, ordering and interpreting tests, developing and executing effective treatment plans, coordinating with other departments, referring patients to appropriate specialists, and ensuring continuity of care with thorough charting in EPIC within 72 hours. Responsibilities also cover maintaining patient records, staying current with licensure and required certifications, attending staff/committee meetings, and performing all other duties within the scope of emergency medicine as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Medicine; Completion of Emergency Medicine Residency
- Credential(s): Board Certified in Emergency Medicine; Physician MD; DEA Diversion Control Division; Physician - Controlled Substance Registration Or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) licensure
- Experience: At minimum, completion of Emergency Medicine Residency
