Job Summary
Emergency Department Physician role providing comprehensive emergency care for patients of all ages, including resuscitation, stabilization, diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and disposition. Responsibilities include evaluating patients upon arrival, developing and implementing care plans, coordinating with other departments, ensuring accurate documentation (EPIC within 72 hours), maintaining licensure and board certification, and participating in staff meetings; position includes Bayhealth sponsorship for J1 and a competitive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine; Completion of Emergency Medicine Residency
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Physician MD or DO licensure
- DEA Diversion Control Division; Physician - Controlled Substance Registration
- Emergency Medicine Residency completion required
