Job Summary
Pick-up and drop-off passengers as scheduled in RouteMatch or deliver meals to Bay Aging clients while ensuring seatbelts are fastened and wheelchairs are secured. Maintain contact with the dispatcher via two-way radio and tablet, accommodating last-minute route changes when instructed. Operate a 12-passenger transit bus safely for approximately 300 miles per shift, maintaining a clean interior and collecting fares or tickets. Complete accurate time cards daily and handle small amounts of cash responsibly. Work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday with occasional night and weekend shifts, reporting to the Regional Transit Operations Supervisor. Requires a valid driver's license, excellent driving record, and ability to lift 50 lbs.
