Job Summary
Pick up and drop off passengers as scheduled in RouteMatch or deliver meals to Bay Aging clients, ensuring all seatbelts are fastened and wheelchairs are secured. Maintain contact with the dispatcher via two-way radio and tablet, accommodating last-minute route changes. Operate a 12-passenger transit bus safely for approximately 300 miles per shift, collecting fares and completing accurate daily time cards. Keep the bus clean inside and out while interacting with passengers courteously. Work a flexible Monday through Friday schedule with occasional night and weekend shifts, performing essential physical tasks such as lifting 50lbs and assisting passengers. Requires a valid driver's license, excellent driving record, and experience with electronic tablets and two-way radios.
