Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC/R systems and kitchen equipment in the San Francisco Bay Area. Perform routine maintenance (filters, coils, refrigerant checks), diagnose leaks and electrical/mechanical faults, install and configure HVAC/refrigeration components, ductwork, piping, wiring, and controls (including rooftop units and thermostats). Ensure proper system operation, airflow, and safety compliance; conduct start-ups and performance testing per manufacturers’ specs. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to meet specifications and safety standards; document installations and progress for dispatch and management; participate in ongoing training to expand HVAC knowledge. Requires customer-service skills, strong problem-solving, ability to read manuals/schematics, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Eligible for company vehicle with gas card; overtime may be available; paid training provided; pre-employment screenings required.
Required Qualifications

- Insurable driving record
- Driver’s license valid in working state
- EPA 608 Certification
- Universal EPA 608 Certification or working toward it
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams
- Own your own tools (company provides some)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Weekend/after-hours availability (as needed)
- Experience in commercial HVAC/R systems and kitchen equipment
