Job Summary
Create holistic seasonal design strategies for Bauer Hockey across all categories and disciplines. Manage workload and timelines to help the design team innovate and create a leadership product while eliminating future obstacles. Work to establish an effective product family design strategy and approve final product design. Assist in developing next-generation products and facilitate collaborative project work requiring directional assistance. Inspire and lead the design team by building bench strength, providing training opportunities, and creating succession plans. Coordinate cross-functional communication when project decisions need guidance and stay current on project designs to ensure designers have necessary tools. Prepare and manage budgets for the product design department. Forecast future design phases and translate design trends into applications.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Industrial Design or related field
- 10 years of experience in Design
- experience managing a dynamic design team
- Demonstrated ability to forecast creation of future design phase

- established and driven end-to-end design strategies and initiatives
- Understand design trends and how to translate them to design application
- Must be a creative and innovative problem solver
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- language: bilingual (French & English)
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
- Proficient is Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- Excellent time/project management skills
- Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and business needs
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed and/or required by essential job functions
