Job Summary

Establish CDMD-OA/MBPS data records for Naval ships by reviewing Contract Data Requirements Lists and performing data validation, analysis, and conversion for submittal. Maintain accurate configuration and equipment records in the database, including technical manuals, drawings, Maintenance Index Pages, and Maintenance Requirement Cards, while analyzing equipment and Hierarchical Structure Codes to ensure proper designation. Update serial numbers and participate in Integrated Logistics Support Management Team meetings to support end-to-end life cycle management activities. Collaborate with Planning Yards to maintain ship classes throughout the US Navy and develop efficient environments for information interchange. Requires Master's degree with 10 years defense life-cycle logistics experience, DAWIA Level 3 certification, and Top Secret clearance. Salary $100,000–$120,000. Full-time, remote, US-based.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree
  • Ten (10) years with a Master's or (14) years with a Bachelor's degree of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes
  • Experience shall include at least six (6) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines
  • Experience supervising Logistics Specialists
  • Individual shall have Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Advanced/Level 3; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional three (3) years (i.e., total 13 years minimum experience with Master's or 17 years with Bachelor's degree) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics
  • Proficient at utilizing operational inventory management software tools to verify existing inventory levels and generate accurate and automated reports
  • They will also automate logistics reporting as necessary using these software suites to ensure efficient and real-time inventory monitoring
  • Prior experience in Configuration Management and Systems Analysis
  • Familiarity, or prior experience, with how the Navy plans configuration, logistics data, technical documentation, and how it is tracked and maintained will shorten the learning curve and is essential in being successful in this position
  • Active Top Secret Clearance walking through the door

Desired Qualifications

  • Windchill experience a huge plus
  • Strong analytical problem-solving, capability to learn and apply new technologies
  • Prior database experience, such as Microsoft Power Apps, is strongly desired
  • Proficiency using Microsoft 365 programs such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Outlook, Word, etc., is strongly desired
  • Military Logistics or Supply experience is strongly desired
  • Prior Navy experience, while not required, is desired
