Job Summary
Respond to breakdown service calls and perform scheduled routine maintenance on industrial battery and charger equipment at customer locations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair 12V through 80V systems including Lithium Ion and Lead Acid units while installing new or used batteries and chargers. Travel to customer sites within a 50-mile radius to maintain equipment according to established guidelines, complete work orders and time cards, and ensure vehicle cleanliness and proper tool stocking. Comply with all safety policies and manufacturer training standards while maintaining professional appearance and customer relations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Technical degree
- Experience working on forklifts
- Experience working on industrial equipment
- Experience working on automotive equipment
- Experience working on farm equipment
- Experience working on other types of heavy equipment
- Good driving record
- 95% travel time
- Service calls within 50 mile radius
