Job Summary
Battery Performance Engineer responsible for leading the development of a full-dimensional battery-pack performance evaluation system for construction machinery, covering electrical, thermal, mechanical, durability, and safety performance. Responsibilities include creating executable evaluation standards, building testing platforms, formulating data analysis models, driving cross-module optimization (cell selection, thermal management, BMS strategy), guiding the team, and developing talent through training and knowledge bases. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in battery-pack systems, with experience in system-level evaluation and optimization, testing, and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Wuxi, Jiangsu, China.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Electrochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Engineering Thermophysics, or related fields
- 8+ years of experience in power battery pack system development
- Led systematic performance evaluation, benchmarking analysis, and optimization of at least 2 mass-produced power battery packs
- Familiar with testing standards, equipment, and data analysis methods for electrical, thermal, mechanical, durability, and safety performance
- Capable of independently building and implementing a system-level performance evaluation system
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
