Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for US customers throughout battery cell and pack development programs, leading technical discussions, program reviews, and issue resolution. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and workshops to drive RFI/RFQ processes and technical proposals, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams across regions. Develop and maintain detailed program schedules, milestones, and deliverables while identifying risks in technical, schedule, cost, and quality areas to drive mitigation plans. Support on-site customer meetings, technical workshops, and plant visits in the US and China, with up to 30% domestic and international travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or related discipline)
- 3+ years of experience in automotive, EV, or energy storage product development
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or equivalent customer-facing leadership roles
- Good understanding of Li-ion battery cell and/or battery pack systems, including development and validation processes
- Proven experience working directly with US or global automotive OEM customers
- Solid knowledge of automotive product development and launch processes, including DV/PV, APQP, and PPAP
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical programs involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and evolving requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers and senior leadership
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required
