Job Summary
Observe guests, ensure their satisfaction, and speak to management for prompt action on any dissatisfaction. Maintain the safety and security of the restaurant/bar premises as a priority while keeping restrooms, exterior halls, and counters clean, tidy, and presentable. Greet all guests with appropriate language, open bathroom doors upon arrival and departures, and escort them to the appropriate facilities. Replace low supplies including paper towels, soap, and toilet tissue; clean mirrors, toilets, floors, and empty trash bins regularly throughout the shift. Monitor counters for excess water, wipe as needed, and ensure "Wet Floor" signage is used during rainy days or cleaning hours. Assist in cleaning spillages, move furniture as directed by management, and notify maintenance of broken fixtures. Perform regular bathroom inspections, update the daily order sheet, and respond immediately to inappropriate guest behavior by involving management and security.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate
- Must be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to read
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to move quickly
- Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance
- Must be effective as part of a team
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
- Must have good positive energy throughout the day
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year bathroom attendant experience preferred
- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge preferred
