Job Summary
Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services, including brushing, bathing, and conditioning, while ensuring the wellness and safety of all furry patrons. Develop long-term relationships with pet parents by understanding their needs and recommending products that keep their pets healthy and happy. Perform routine cleaning to maintain a fun and inviting grooming environment and assist store team members during downtime. This role requires flexibility for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year or more of grooming experience with formal training certification and/or experience under an established certified groomer
- 1 year experience in retail or other service industry where they've provided top notch service
- Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds
- Be able to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Flexible in working evenings, weekends and holidays
- Pass the drug, background and validated selection test
- Be 18 years or older
