Bather

Bather role at Pet Supermarket in South Tampa, FL. Responsibilities include bathing, drying, and brushing dogs; performing ear cleansing, nail trimming, and medicated/parasite-control baths as requested; maintaining and sanitizing the bathing area and equipment; engaging with customers to promote bathing services and educate home-care products; assisting on the floor with promotions when not actively bathing; handling pets safely and professionally; and following policies to ensure quality service. Must have knowledge of bathing techniques for various dog breeds, enjoy teamwork, and possess a genuine interest in pet care. Prior bathing/grooming experience or professional training is preferred. This position requires standing and walking for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with regular interaction with customers and pets in a retail grooming environment. Promotes high-quality service and supports store operations and promotions.
