Job Summary
Precisely inspect, stage, weigh, and mix ingredients according to product recipes while collaborating with the Quality Department to adjust batches based on analytical results. Pre-weigh blends, liquefy components, and accurately document lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates per customer regulations. Perform cleaning and sanitation of batching equipment and fillers, operate an electric forklift to load sugar, and maintain general housekeeping in warehouse areas. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety Standards, and all plant safety guidelines while completing hourly inspection sheets. Requires night shift availability (12-hour days on a 2/2/3 schedule) and forklift experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar position
- 1 year of experience managing projects
- Ability to visually inspect products and materials
- Forklift experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Safety, continuous improvement, and solutions-driven mindset
- Ability to lift approximately 50lbs
- Ability to stand 8+ hours
- Ability to push and pull
- Must be willing to work night shift
- 12 hours per day 2/2/3 Schedule
- Regular and predictable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience preferred in the Food or Beverage industry or similar manufacturing environment
- Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or canning industries
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
