Job Summary
Batching Operator responsible for preparing, measuring, and mixing ingredients according to batch paperwork and recipes to produce products with strong texture, color, flavor, and food protection. Responsibilities include following batch paperwork precisely, operating batching equipment (scales, blenders, mixers, pumps), monitoring quality, performing quality checks, troubleshooting process issues, maintaining a clean, safe work area, adhering to GMP/safety procedures, and collaborating with QA for product approvals and variances. Role requires reading batch paperwork/recipes, basic math for weights and measurements, and effective communication with production teams. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience in food or beverage manufacturing, batching, or related field is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret batch paperwork and safety rules
- Good math skills and ability to calculate weights and measurements
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to production schedules
- Team player with good communication skills
