Job Summary
Batching Operator responsible for preparing and monitoring the batching process through automated control-room systems, verifying raw materials and formulas, and executing production runs with a focus on safety and compliance. Key tasks include real-time monitoring of batching processes, initiating and adjusting production, logging production data, and identifying deviations for continuous improvement. The role requires operating automated batching equipment, ensuring materials are dispensed and processed accurately, and adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standards. Prior manufacturing experience (2+ years) with production management is required; aquaculture experience is a plus. The position is based in St. Andrews, NB, on a 10-hour shift, 4 days per week, with replacement vacancy type and full-time status.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of solid background in manufacturing with experience in production management
- Previous experience in the aquaculture industry is an asset
- Able to operate all types of equipment and machinery that requires advanced specialized knowledge
- Able to work 10-hour shift- 4 days a week (2 days - 2 night)
- Strong manufacturing background with experience in production
