Job Summary
Batching Operator responsible for batching activities to meet production demand and safety/quality standards. Performs precise inspection, staging, weighing, and mixing of ingredients per product recipes; collaborates with Quality Assurance on analytical results and makes batch adjustments (e.g., Brix, Acid, pH, color). Pre-weighs, blends, and liquefies components for beverage preparation; documents lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates per customer regulations; conducts sanitation of batching equipment and CIP processes. Operates forklift to load/move ingredients, adheres to GMP and food safety standards, and maintains general housekeeping and quality across batching, production, and related areas. Must be able to work up to 12-hour shifts, stand/walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. Emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to company values during production operations; regular attendance is essential. Includes potential involvement in other areas as assigned by plant leadership and opportunities for growth within Niagara Bottling, LLC.
Required Qualifications
- 2 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 2 Years – Experience in Position
- 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects
- Ability to speak effectively with management and employees at all levels
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work up to 12 hour shifts, day or night, overtime
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Forklift experience
