Job Summary
Batching Operator - Day Shift at Niagara Bottling is responsible for batching activities per production demand, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met. Precisely inspects, stages, weighs, and mixes ingredients according to product recipes; collaborates with Quality Assurance on analytical results and adjusts batches (Brix, acid, pH, color); pre-weighs, blends, and liquefies components for beverage preparation; accurately documents lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates on formulas per customer regulations; cleans and sanitizes batching equipment and fillers (CIPs, foaming equipment, hand brushing); operates forklift to load/move ingredients following safety procedures; adheres to GMP and Food Safety Standards; maintains housekeeping and quality across batching, production, and related areas; completes hourly inspection sheets; may assist in other areas as required by plant leadership; regular and predictable attendance is essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
- 2 Years – Experience in Position
- 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects
- Ability to speak effectively with management and employees at all levels
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and/or flexibility to work up to 12 hour shifts, day or night, overtime
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Forklift experience
- Education: High School Diploma
