Job Summary
Conduct syrup batching and blending operations by verifying ingredients against SAP, following batching sheets, and accurately recording amounts. Operate forklifts to transport ingredients, unload tankers, and remove empty barrels while adhering to all health and safety policies, GMPs, and FDA regulations. Ensure product quality by obtaining blend tank samples for laboratory testing, making adjustments based on quality department instructions, and completing required documentation for QA review. Perform scheduled CIP/COP sanitation of lines, tanks, and equipment to maintain sanitation standards throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Certification
- 1-2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Able to routinely lift 50lbs
- Able to perform duties within a high stress/pressure environment
- Have a sound general knowledge of mathematical skills, i.e. measurements/formulas
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written (English)
- Solid comprehension of production schedules and laboratory testing
- Understand quality improvement, increase efficiencies, improve yields, and eliminate out of specification or damaged product
- Attention to detail
- Obtains/Sustains forklift certification
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise control of equipment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to analyze data and process parameters to optimize production
- Participation in safety audits and inspections to ensure a safe working environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a high-speed beverage production environment
- Formal training in areas such as SAP, HACCP, GMP, Hygiene etc.
- 1-2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
