Job Summary
Monitor batch mixing and weighing processes while performing visual inspections and controlling silo and mix bin levels. Connect, disconnect, and spot rail cars on unloading rails, then unload rail cars, trucks, and supersacks of batch raw materials. Drive plant performance through Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metrics within a lean manufacturing team environment. Solve problems by monitoring batch performance and adhere to safe work practices in a fast-paced, high-speed setting. Work any shift, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility for scheduled overtime.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work any shift
- Flexibility to work overtime as scheduled, including weekends and holidays
