Job Summary
Operate the concrete batch plant by weighing and mixing materials, loading, batching, and testing products to meet specifications. Perform essential housekeeping and maintenance/repair of the plant and workspace to ensure safe operations. Work in a climate-controlled facility within a heavy manufacturing environment with various safety hazards, potentially involving work at heights, confined spaces, and around heavy equipment. This role may entail project site work at night and on weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Less than a high school education is acceptable with GED
- up to one-month work related experience
- training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- adequate communication skills, both verbal and written
- visual abilities that include close vision
- visual abilities that include distance vision
- visual abilities that include color vision
- visual abilities that include peripheral vision
- visual abilities that include the ability to adjust visual focus
- ability to wear personal protection equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, and steel toe boots
- ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- ability to work in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee and Team Members without proper safety precautions
- ability to work at heights

- ability to work under constantly changing circumstances
