Batch Operator I

Batch Operator I (2nd shift 3PM-3AM) oversees blending, mixing, and potential cooking of ingredients for food product batches per company formula. Responsibilities include daily preparation of ingredients, operating equipment per procedures, accurate paperwork, assisting with mixing/staging, verifying ingredients and lot numbers on batch tickets, visually inspecting batch quality before lab sampling, supporting daily production by adhering to schedule, maintaining a sanitary and safe work area, and following GMPs, SOPs, safety policies, and SQF/food-safety requirements. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, reading/writing, basic math, ability to work weekends/holidays/varying shifts, and physical ability to stand, walk, lift (10 lbs frequently, >100 lbs occasionally), and work in wet/humid conditions with exposure to allergens.
