Job Summary
Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to specified recipes, then operate mixing equipment to melt and blend chocolate, peanut butter, oils, and powders while monitoring time and temperatures. Maintain detailed records of weights, mixing times, and temperatures, and ensure uniform consistency and product quality. Use the Basic Sanitation Steps to wet-wash and sanitize enrobing rooms and line equipment, adhering to strict GMP, SQF, HACCP, and allergen protocols. Follow all safety guidelines and work closely with team members to ensure efficient production processes. This role requires high school diploma or GED with four years' experience in food manufacturing, bi-lingual skills preferred, and the ability to stand and walk continuously for 8-12 hours. Weekend or shift work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years' experience
- Ability to read, write and understand English work instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds
- Stand and/or walk continuously for 8-12 hours a day
- Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
