Job Summary
Accurately weigh and measure ingredients according to specified recipes and operate mixing equipment to melt and blend chocolate, peanut butter, oils, and powders. Maintain detailed records of weights, times, and temperatures while monitoring processes to ensure uniform consistency and meet quality standards. Wet-wash and sanitize processing equipment using Basic Sanitation Steps, strictly adhering to food safety protocols and GMP walks. Monitor metal detection and adjust mixing parameters to maintain product quality. This role requires standing for 8-12 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a warehouse environment with temperatures between 55–80°F. Weekend or shift rotation may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years' experience
- Ability to read, write and understand English work instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds
- Stand and/or walk continuously for 8-12 hours a day
- Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar role
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
