Job Summary
Review daily batch tickets and ensure raw materials are available before starting machines to mix or blend chemicals, powders, and color pigments. Weigh and measure ingredients for processing, then operate PLC/Whirl Air systems to blend materials for specified times. Dump materials into machinery, monitor equipment for safe operation, and stop blending when product qualities are met. Collect samples for laboratory testing, examine products visually to ensure conformance, fill containers with finished goods, seal lids, and clean machinery. Maintain open communication with Supervisors and Maintenance while following safety guidelines using appropriate PPE. Work powder line or assist in other departments as workload dictates. High school diploma required with prior manufacturing experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to read and comprehend English
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Ability to work basic math problems
- Ability to communicate among peers and work on a team
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
