Job Summary
Produce quality adhesive products by following batch ticket instructions, sequences, and quality control procedures exactly. Complete pre-compounding processes, locate raw materials, and document consumption and discrepancies on batch tickets. Maintain assigned equipment through pre-operational, in-process, and post-batch inspections, immediately reporting contamination, repairs, or safety issues. Prepare and deliver marked batch samples to the Quality Control Laboratory and control remix materials per instructions. Maintain a clean work area, store supplies properly, and remove empty containers before shift end. Participate in physical inventory, assist in any area required, and train designated employees on compounding procedures. Schedule: 1st Shift 6:00 am-2:30 pm Monday - Friday. Location: Columbus, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience in a related field
- Current forklift certification training
- Valid state driver's license, with a good driving record
- Mechanical aptitude with practical application skills
- Analytical ability
- Speak and write English clearly and distinctly
- Perform with minimal supervision
- Perform basic mathematical skills
- Take directions and apply to the assigned task
- Must lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Peripheral vision
- Ability to adjust focus
- Maintain respirator certification through required physicals and fit tests
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
